Okay, this has to be the last cast. There is nothing else to go to. Of course, with me, nothing is simple. The plan was to have one cast all through this whole process, but that didn't pan out. I have had 4, yes 4.......... casts in 4 weeks. Swelling was the issue at hand. Well, here is my final and beautiful cast (do you note the sarcasm here?).... the only bummer is, I miss all my kiddo's signatures and drawings on it. They really brightened my days.
Again, I have been so blessed with wonderful friends, that have swept me away from my four walls and taken me to their homes for dinner or to coffee. Friends that came over and brought smoothies and cookies and dinners and special treats and conversation. And cards..... AWW it has been so wonderful!! I have a wonderful husband that has taken care of everything. A awesome daughter and son that has bent over backward to make sure I haven't lifted a finger (or a foot) . Lauren has learned a lot of new chores around the house in short period of time. And she loves it! She loves running the sweeper and wants to be in charge of taking out the trash. (EWW!) (YUCK!) Luckily Josh stepped in and said she was still a little to young to do it.
I am anxious to get back to my normal, and to get rid of this thing on my foot!
2 I have alot of commednts:
WOW....quite the contraption there. We are ready for you to be all better, too. Nothing like seeing people we care about not feeling well. I hate that! Take care of yourself and rest up. The troops are coming soon! : )
