Celebrating School

Every year the girls try to go to Miss Molly's in Medina to celebrate the new year of school. I just happened to run across this picture today. My sister, Lisa, was able to make it to lunch. My mom is on the right, and of course Lauren is in the middle. This was from August 2006. But with the wonderful spring weather we have had, I thought it was just the perfect picture.

Celebrate

Lauren is enjoying her drink in a fancy tea cup. If you haven't been to Miss Molly's in Medina, it is a must! They do have nice lunches. For a special day out with your girls or moms, it is worth the trip.

Lauren

Happy almost Friday! Yes, I lied. I am sooooo sorry. I said that I would post last weekend but didn't. I am a baaaaaaaadddddd blogger. :o)

Well, Lauren had a blast at her friends slumber party last Friday/Saturday. Chloe's mom had 10 or 11 girls spend the night. Crazy, don't you think? But let me tell you, she also has 6 month old twin girls and her hubby was working on Friday until 11:00. So, in my eyes, she is SUPER WOMAN! There is some pictures of the slumber party on her blog, and it is "the Hunt girls", you can click on it down on the left on my blog. Go check it out.......

After getting Lauren home from the slumber party, she decided to puncture herself 3/4 of an inch with a pencil into her upper leg. OUCH!!!!!!!! Mom, (me) wanted to rush her hysterical little girl to the hospital, but dad (George) being the calm, lets look at the situation kind of person, said call the doctor. So, we did just that..... I called the doctor.. WHEW, that was toooo easy. We followed the doctors suggestions, and to make a long story short, she is doing great. I had taken pictures, I know, sounds odd, but I am not posting them because they are gross! YUCK!

Not much is going on right now. Just kinda bummed because the sun isn't out, and it is 30 something degrees right now. And to think, it was almost 70's on Tuesday. :o( I am ready for spring!!!!!!
I will try to get some more pictures on this weekend. I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and a great weekend!

What a smile!

Oh yeah! I actually was able to get a picture of Josh today. But he didn't do it for me, he had to have it for a school project. But who's complaining, I actually got a real smile out of him. I wonder where he got the dimples from?

Mom is so forgetful

Hi, this is me Lauren, I just had to tell you and everyone else in my class today, that my mom was not " with it " this morning. Mom woke up and had me ready and my hair curled for school pictures today. Then one of the moms that my mom babysits for, told her it wasn't until tomorrow. Geesh Mom, get with it! Anyhow, I thought I looked pretty cute for the day. So did mom, so she had to take another picture.

Look what I did today!

For all of you who know that I am into the card making and scrapbooking, this is my first paint can. It is for one of Lauren's friends birthday party. (SHHHHH don't tell!) It was pretty easy and fun to make. So, look out, one may be headed your way......... :o)

The Calm before the storm

I was going back through some of my pictures, and for some reason I kept coming back to this.... This was a picture of the sky right before a storm. It looks so peaceful to me.

It represents life. (The calm before the storm) Also, that even in the middle of a terrible storm, there is beauty.

THE STORM

Need a laugh?

You might think I am crazy for posting this, but I just had to. For me, this picture represents a wonderful dad and husband. This was the day George came back from California, and Lauren had missed him so much. She planned this welcome home party for him, and of course made this wonderful crown. George, of course, did not have any problem with putting it on and having his picture taken. He always is there for me and the kids when we need a laugh. What a wonderful man! Love ya Georgie!
